Celebrating 40 years with Fenwick Brent Cross

Brent Cross Shopping Centre holds many special childhood memories for me, so I was honoured when Fenwick commissioned me to create illustrations to mark their 40th year at Brent Cross.

The idea was to create an illustration of a seventies woman, strolling outside the iconic Fenwick facade looking fashionable and fabulous whilst holding their green shopping bags.

So, we started off by creating a seventies inspired Pinterest board...(of course!) and looking through photos of the store back in the day which completely fed my appetite and love of old photos.
